Why I created this
When I started producing music back in 2010, I always struggled to find good vocalists for my tracks. This led to me starting Kollab in 2016; initially this was a marketplace for audio professionals, but we eventually pivoted into a successful global agency.Vocalists were by far the most in demand of our session artists, and in my four years running the company I managed top session vocalists with clients all over the world. It still amazes me that to this day, many vocalists and artists are not taking advantage of this unique and profitable business model.
As a music producer, I have produced for over 100 artists, both independent and label-based. The struggles of singers are always the same...ultimately it all comes down to most of them believing it's simply impossible to make good money through music.I started this consulting business to show people what I learnt all those years ago; that there's a real under-served need in the music industry for quality vocalists and songwriters. I teach the fundamentals of the business side with an understanding of being true to your creative self as well.I'm not a 'guru', and I can't stand the word 'coach'. My teaching style is relaxed, fun and no BS. If you want wishy-washy mindset fluff, there are plenty of useless 'coaches' online who will take your money.
